About the Keyword


The first link mainly introduces the meaning of keyword and how to find the key words of the information that you want to find. “If you are researching the impact of computers on writing instruction, for instance, you might use the keywords writing, teaching, computers, technology, instruction, and learning.”(What is a Keyword?). The second link mainly talks about the steps that how to use these key words to find the information that you want to find out. How to search what they want more effectively and exactly. Adding or remove something in order to limited the range that you search.

My topic is how to keep people’s body healthy. These are three key words for me to search.

First one is “body”. I want to use this key word to find out how people body work in order to let people know about their body better. This is the link that I found http://kidshealth.org/kid/htbw/. I thought this link is perfect. It uses animation to introduce the knowledge to people so that people could understand it more easily.

Second one is "disciplinary diet". This is what I find out http://ezinearticles.com/?A-Disciplinary-Diet-Plan---5-Sure-Fire-Keys-to-Diets-That-Work&id=3584886 . However, I cannot use this keyword to find out more information what I want. Therefore, I change "disciplinary" to "regular" as my teacher advice me before. Then I find out what I want—the diet http://www.drugs.com/cg/regular-diet.html.

The third one is "exercise". After I use it to search, the results are all how to exercise in order to lose weight and what kind of exercise could lose people’s weight. That is not the information that I want to find out. Therefore, I add “health” to limit the information and use “and” between them. Then I find out what I want http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/exercise/HQ01676. This is to introduce people what is the benefits to do exercise. http://exercise.about.com/od/healthinjuries/Exercise_Health.htm. This is the web including a lot of links about the topic “exercise and health” which is more valuable. Finally, writing your feelings after the information that you find out and highline the information that you want to used in case you forget. That is all what you do about the searching.

ENGL105 Be Friendly to Our Bodies


I was born in China and my parents are all doctors, which makes me know more about our bodies in daily life. When I was young my parents told me that you should go to bed early and get up early that are good for your body to keep health. When we were eating, my parents told me that eating this more is good for your brain or eating that is good for your eyes, and so on. Every morning, my father gets up early and goes outside to do exercises. He said doing this is good for our bodies to weak up early and promote the metabolism as well.

Time goes so quickly, I am 21years old now. In order to get better education, my parents send me to American to study. Unfortunately, I was sick these days and cannot go anywhere but stay at home. I felt so strongly that having a healthy body is so important for people no matter on their lives or their studies. I realized that people should treat their body nicely and carefully so that their bodies could work well for them. Nevertheless, their bodies will treat you as you treat them. I did not realize it until I was ill. Be nice to your body that is so important.

Therefore, in this semester, I will focus on to study people’s body.

1. How to keep people’s bodies work well.

2. Why the disciplinary diet could keep health.

3. How to do exercise and what kind of exercise is good for people to do.

Keep our body healthy and keep our mood optimate.
